Why a Stage 3 FOLLOW-UP Webinar?
Stage 3 (the foundational skills for Reading Comprehension) is the most complex of our courses and so we offer additional training support once teachers have developed some fluency with our rather unique guided reading routines, usually around 6 weeks after the initial training.
This is also a great opportunity for anyone who has trained some time ago and wants to do a REFRESHER course.
What does this webinar cover?
In this two hour webinar we look at
Data Collection - after 6 weeks of instruction you will be ready to focus on all the data that is being presented
Introducing Specific Learning Outcomes to meet identified needs you have identified.
Implementation of the Whole Class Routine - providing daily practice to habituate the skills being developed.
How to increase student engagement - some solutions for students who are having trouble engaging in the learning.
How often are these Follow-Up webinars offered?
We schedule them for Weeks 3 and 8 of our NZ terms and the second week of the NZ school holidays. During the term we run these 2 hour sessions after school to make it easy for teachers to attend. We cater for all time zones.

A GREAT add-on: Virtual In-Class Support
When distance gets in the way of face-to-face in-class support we can now offer Virtual Observations and Feedback. Getting some one-on-one time with the developer of a PD program with your own students is of course the BEST possible way to make sure that your implementation is accurate.
