To successfully run a reading rotation you need to answer the question ‘What am I going to do with the rest of the class?’

Profitable - should develop important after-reading comprehension skills.
Engaging - something that the student can feel successful about (make sure you spend time explaining and modelling the tasks to ensure SUCCESS!)
Motivating - something that interested them; a mixture of writing, drawing, creative responses.
We offer you some generic activities for fiction and non-fiction text based on Bloom's Taxonomy - increasingly more complex cognitive thinking required.
