Welcome to SharpReading Stage 3.

There are 8 units to this course. If you are in PREVIEW mode, you have access to the lessons that are NOT padlocked.

Each unit is a specific piece of learning on your way to becoming a fluent teacher of 'in-the-moment' comprehension skills and will include Learning Outcomes for Knowledge and Practice.

It will contain a concept section (new knowledge for you) and a practical component - a new teaching skill - which will be explained and modelled by teacher demonstration (video) and classroom examples (video).

A prerequisite for this course is that your students have achieved appropriate decoding fluency at a reading age of 7-8 years or above.
