Here is a chance to dip your toes into the water to find out whether SharpReading is really going to meet the needs of your school.

Choose one or two teachers to do the initial training and run the routines in their classrooms. As with anyone who embarks on our training, we will make sure they get all the support they need to make this a runaway success.

If you decide to proceed, having run a trial will make the next steps so much easier. SharpReading will already have credibility in the school

• Teachers will know it has been trialled and will have had the option to view it in action

• You will have feedback from your contributing staff

• There will be a buzz from the kids

• There will be data that shows a positive impact on motivation and achievement

• The school will have developed some expertise that can be channelled into the coaching roles later on in the process.

Stages 1&2: Developing Decoding Fluency (Typically Years 1-2)
See how this routine dovetails into your phonics / structured literacy lessons and gives your students that much-needed opportunity to transfer the skills they are learning into reading 'authentic' text.
COST: $139 NZ (+GST) per teacher

Stage 3: Teach Comprehension Skills (Typically Years 3-8)
The foundation on which the following comprehension stages are built (Stages 4-6).
COST: $195 NZ (+GST) per teacher

For each teacher, this trial package will include

• A 4-hour personalised Start-Up webinar OR 2 x 2-hour webinars

• 12 months access to the ONLiNE Course

• Zoom coaching sessions to iron out any kinks
